The Hotel

Grafton Manor was built in 1567 by the Earl of Shrewsbury an important political figure and leading member of the catholic church at the time. The house was the jewel in the crown of a large prosperous estate and was party to many of the great events in English history including the Gunpowder Plot and the succession of William and Mary.

The house has been home to the Morris family since 1945. John (now Lord of Grafton) and June opened Grafton initially as a restaurant and then as a hotel in 1980. With their three children they have worked continuously to improve and develop Grafton.

With nine individually decorated ensuite bedrooms, two board rooms and a magnificent parlour, the hotel is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day exploring the glorious Worcestershire countryside or one spent on business in the West Midlands.

With the outstanding motorway connections it is possible to bring the whole country within easy reach. Grafton Manor is the perfect place to stay whatever the reason for your visit.
