Grafton is a 16th Century Elizabethan Manor house located on the outskirts of Bromsgrove, down a private country lane. The hotel has been family owned, run and cared for the last 40 years.
Today, Grafton is a thriving country house hotel and a haven of tranquility for our guests. Steeped in history, the Manor is packed with original features, character, and charm.
Enter through the historic porch and enjoy a warm welcome at the Gin Bar where you can begin to relax ahead of spending an evening in one of our luxurious en suite bedrooms, with all amenities to keep you in modern comfort, set in historic grandeur.
If you go up into the eaves of Grafton Manor, it is still possible to see where someone has carved the date 1742 into one of the wooden beams. The scribe is not known. Maybe it was a workman, or possibly one of the servants. Whoever it was, Grafton Manor, then, was prestigious and newly built on the site of a much older residence, tragically destroyed by fire in 1710.
